My Story

I always have been in church my whole life. My parents took me every Sunday and Wednesday night. I grew up hearing the stories of the Bible and the Word of God since I was a baby. I was active in youth group where I learn about Jesus and God. While I was a sinner I was not up to par on my attitude. I was always starting trouble with siblings and many cousins of mine. I was a good kid to certain people but in reality I was not that good.

When I was seven years old I was always in the youth on Wednesday nights. Every night we had a lesson, food, and games. While I was listening, I had a tug on my heart every night and Sunday morning. With all the influence in my life of being a role model of being a Christian, I was ore led down to the right path, this one Wednesday night I had the biggest tug-a-war with my heart but, like usually a young boy losing interest in the few minutes and wants to play games and eat.

God use the story of Goliath and David to win the tug-a-war in my heart. I was all about battle ball or dodgeball, and while I was playing the game it hit me that I needed Christ to fill my hole in my heart. While I was thinking I went to my sister who led me to the youth pastor that time and he went through the process and ask me to repeat the prayer. I pray and didn’t mean it. While the night went on I came home and the second night of not asking God to my heart I had the dream of me be alone and everyone die went to heaven, so I got up that night and asked God “come into my heart, that I know I am a sinner, and that Jesus died and arise for my sins. He is the only way to be together with the Lord.” That is when m became a follower of Christ.

Since that day I knew I want to do some kind of ministry when I graduated from High School I knew I have to complete his Great commission but before that I had to get Baptized and then I start to study Gods word and go a Christian college to become a missionary. As now I am working aside my sending church Holston Baptist Church and going through Associate Baptist World Evangelism.
